The 15th of April of this year marked the eighth “National Security Education Day” in our country, and for the sixth year, the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region jointly hosted the National Security Education Exhibition. The Audit Commission participated actively in this exhibition as in previous years. The Commissioner of Audit, Mr. Ho Veng On, led the staff of the Commissioner of Audit’s Office to visit the exhibition on April 20, and the Director of Audit Bureau, Mr. Neoh Hwai Beng, organized the staff of the Audit Bureau to visit the exhibition on May 2.

The year 2023 marked the start of the full implementation of the aspirations outlined in the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and also marked the 30th anniversary of the promulgation of the MSAR Basic Law. This exhibition had immense significance in enabling the staff of the Audit Commission to timely review and conclude the national security work in the new era, the great achievements under the implementation of “One Country, Two Systems” in Macao and its successful experience.
