At the invitation of the National Audit Office of the People’s Republic of China (CNAO), the Director of the Audit Bureau of the Audit Commission of Macao, Mr. Neoh Hwai Beng, led four members of the Audit Commission to Shanghai, during 17 to 20 April 2023, in which they exchanged views on audit work with the representatives of the CNAO Shanghai Regional Office, and met with the Director General, Mr. Peng Huazhang.

During the seminar, the two sides discussed the practice of auditing in the fields of government investment funds, bonds and private equity funds. The discussion was enthusiasm and achieved fruitful results.

The delegation also visited the Shanghai Municipal Audit Bureau and met with the Director General, Mr. Liu Xiangmin, in which they made a brief presentation of their work and the audit work in government investment. In addition, the delegation had an exchange with the representatives of the Shanghai Stock Exchange and visited the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center.
