The Comission of Audit has completed Audit Report on the Accounts of the Macao Government of Year 2002 (hereinafter, “the report”) and submitted the report to the Chief Executive for examination, which was further submitted by the Chief Executive to the Legislative Assembly. The report was officially issued on October 30th and available to the citizens for free.

The Commission audited the general accounts of the Macao Government of Year 2002 prepared by the Financial Services Bureau and the accounts prepared by 38 departments with financial and administrative autonomy and 10 departments with administrative autonomy.

The audit report confirmed that the abovementioned financial statements appropriately reflected the asset and liability conditions ending December 31st 2002 and the annual revenue and expenditure accounts settled on December 31st 2002 in all material respects.
