China National Audit Office Experts invited to teach courses in Macao

In order to ensure its audit staff to keep pace with the times and update their knowledge, the Commission of Audit (CA) invited a number of experts from China National Audit Office (CNAO) to teach four thematic courses on 9 and 10 July, and shared their experience on related topics.

The experts from CNAO included the Director General of Department of Administrative and Law Enforcement Audit, Hu Jiajun, the Deputy Director General of Department of Legal Affairs, Wang Fang, the Deputy Director General of Department of Fixed Assets Investment Audit, Lu Huasheng, the Director of IT Center, Sun Zhonghe and Mr. Liu Guofeng from IT Center. They respectively introduced the latest situation on the topics of accountability audit on government leaders and employees, audit laws and regulations, public works investment audit and information system audit, and also shared their practical experience. Besides, they answered the questions of CA staff in detail, and encouraged them to actively learn new audit concepts and effective working methods, fulfill audit tasks with unwavering determination.

During their stay in Macao, the Commissioner of Audit, Ho Veng On, met with Hu Jiajun and other experts. He expressed gratitude to CNAO for its support to CA over the years in personnel training and computer-aided audit. After these training activities, CA staff further understood the profound meaning of the concept of auditing as a promotion for good government administration; meanwhile, Ho Veng On hoped that through this direct communication, CA staff would realize the new position and requirements of audit work under the new circumstances, in order to play a more active role in the different types of audit project in the future.
