Jointly organized by China Society of Audit and the Accounting Department of Taiwan Chengchi University, “Seminar on Audit Theory and Practice on the Two Sides of the Strait and in Hong Kong and Macau— 2015”was held in Taiwan in mid-August. Commission of Audit (CA) has sent delegates to take part in the event for six consecutive years and delivered special report in the seminar.

The seminar is held annually by turns in Mainland and Taiwan, provides a crucial communication platform for the audit institutions among Cross straits, Hong Kong and Macau. This year, the personnel of audit institutions and academic experts in the four regions were invited to conduct an academic and practical exploration on the three topics of “The application and effectiveness of geographic information system and information technology”, “The audit of Government fiscal sustainability” and “Discussion on the delivery and presentation of audit result”.

The Director of Audit Bureau, Neoh Hwai Beng, led the delegation of CA of Macau SAR which includes the Division Head of Research and Methodology, Fong Kuok Io, delivered four papers around the above topics. More than 60 audit personnel, experts and scholars from Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau participated in the seminar.
