Training by experts from Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions

A training course in performance audit is under way whose objective is to consolidate the knowledge and skills of the audit staff of the Commission of Audit of Macau. Two experts from the Supreme Audit Institution of Pakistan, which plays the role of ASOSAI’s training base, have been invited to deliver the course.

The ongoing course lasts for two weeks, 15 to 26 October, and is taught by the Deputy Auditor General, Imran Iqbal, assisted by the director Khalid Mahmood. During the training course, the audit staff will refine and also learn new audit skills, improve their managing of performance audit projects, deepen their knowledge on the INTOSAI’s standards, become acquainted with the practices of their international peers and also with the recent advances in audit theories.

Commissioner of Audit, Ho Veng On, met Imran Iqbal and Khalid Mahmood and exchanged with them views on further strengthening bilateral cooperation between Macau and Pakistan in the field of audit.
