Principal auditor Wong Chung-yan, senior auditor Chow Wei-chung, auditor Chan Mei-yan and senior examiner Cheung Kai-ling from Hong Kong Audit Commission presented comprehensively on the methodology and techniques applied in the value for money audit on various large construction projects in Hong Kong, as well as the difficulties they face in conducting such audits. Following the presentation, staff from both Commissions had an in-depth exchange of experience and opinions on the subject. The rich and most relevant experience from the Hong Kong’s counterparts will be very beneficial to Macau Audit Commission’s audit staff who will be working on similar audit projects in the future.
