Kou Chin Pang, Assistant Commissioner of Audit, lead a delegation to Nanjing Audit University. The Assistant Commissioner was warmly received by the rector of the University, (Mr) Wang Jiaxin, with whom reached the assurance that the University would continue supporting the Commission’s personnel training.

Kou Chin Pang and his staff met the University’s vice-chairmen (Yin Ping e Zhang Jincheng) in the morning of 6 December. During the meeting, the vice-chairmen briefed the visiting delegation on the main academic aspects and on the development of the institution. On his turn, Kou Chin Pang thanked the University for its active support towards the training projects developed by CA; Mr Kou also made a brief presentation on the working of CA and on the main lines guiding the training projects, which will sustain the further development of CA. Both sides exchanged ideas on the framework for CA’s personnel training, with special attention given to strengthening the cooperation on special audit, on certified professional qualification and on raising the academic level of CA’s personnel, and agreed on continuing the cooperation in the next year. The University also proposed a series of different programmes in order to increment the cooperation.

Afterwards, Wang Jiaxin offered CA’s delegation a lunch, during which both sides further exchanged ideas on the features of the audit personnel in the two regions. Wang Jiaxin made clear that the University confers great importance to the exchange and cooperation with CA and his believe that the cooperation will bring better and better results.

Following officials of the University also took part in the meetings: director of the School of Continuing Education, Xu Zhenlong; Post-graduation Division Head, Li Qun; director of the Office for Hong Kong, Macau e Taiwan Affairs, Tang Yanping; secretary of the School of Continuing Education, Chen Guoxiang; and head of the Training Department of the School of Continuing Education, Tao Wenbao.

Located in Jiangsu province, Nanjing Audit University is an institution of higher learning specialized in the areas of Economy and Finance, co-founded by China National Audit Office and the provincial government of Jiangsu. From the current year, Nanjing Audit University started to accept CA’s staff to its courses of professional qualification, which has contributed to widen CA’s staff horizons and professional knowledge. The courses are: “Audit Course for Cadres”, “Fixed Assets Investment Audit” and “Information and Communication Technologies Assisted Audit”.

Kou Chin Pang and his staff also took part in a guided visit to the University new campus’ library, monetary museum, audit culture museum, students’ activity centre and other teaching installations.
