18 members of the Macau Civil Servants Federation Youth Committee (CJFFPM, from the Portuguese acronym) recently visited the Audit Commission (CA, from the Portuguese acronym). On that day, CA’s representative first introduced the establishment and responsibilities of CA, the scope of auditees, audit procedures, the follow up on the audit reports and the effectiveness of audit work, etc. Subsequently, the president of the Macau Civil Servants Federation, Tong Wai Kit, the vice chairman of the Youth Committee, Kou Ka Ian, the secretary-general, O Lai Heong and the other members, had a sincere interactive communication with the Commissioner of Audit, Mr. Ho Veng On, the Chief of Commissioner of Audit’s Office, Ms. Ermelinda Maria da Conceição Xavier and the Director of the Audit Bureau of the Audit Commission, Mr. Neoh Hwai Beng. Both parties actively exchanged views and opinions on issues related to the confidentiality of audit information, pre-audit and types of audit, etc.
